lincoln-landscapes: Autumn leaves float down Panther Creek at the old Panther Creek Ford in Woodford County, Illinois. It is believed that this old ford (stream crossing) may be part of the old road that Abraham Lincoln rode by one-horse buggy (and probably by horse only) between Metamora and Bloomington as part of the Eighth Judicial Circuit. Panther Creek is a tributary to the Mackinaw River.
